Decisively influenced by a successful entrepreneur’s family, Sascha R. Prestel already founded his first company at the age of 25 with an annual turnover in its first fiscal year of 4.1 million DM. At the age of 27 he became the general representative of a subsidiary of the three biggest European insurance companies.

At the age of 29 he became the initiate shareholder and member of the Management Board of KITON Financial Engineering AG. In this position he acted as advisor and creator of strategic corporate and sales concepts, product development as well as organisation and reorganisation of companies. In 2004 the KITON Financial Engineering AG raised together with an Insurance company for the companies own developed product MAXI-RENT over 700 Mio Euro. In January 2005, he sold his block of shares (50%) of KITON Financial Engineering AG.

Sascha R. Prestel gathered a varied experience in the media industry in the years 2005 to 2007 by taking over the administration, investor relations and communication of a London-based film production company for the German market. He was a member of the Management Board of HUMAN ENERGY CONSULTING AG since March 2008.

Sascha R. Prestel took over the leadership of IM Internationalmedia AG effective March 1, 2008. He was responsible for the areas of finance, investor relations, corporate communications and administration. Internationalmedia AG is a Germany-based parent company of the Internationalmedia Group, a global film company with offices in London, the United Kingdom, and Los Angeles, the United States. The Company operates in three main business areas. Intermedia Films develops, finances, produces and distributes motion pictures. Films of the Internationalmedia Group include Alexander, Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines, Life Of David Gale, Basic, as well as The Wedding Planner, among others.

In June 2009 he partnered up with K5s Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur in order to run the business development of the K5 Media Group.
